69ccf80582813 Jagger

Jagger, a Wire-haired Parson Russell Terrier, is the perfect dog in his own safe environment: sweet, sociable, and playful.
However, he carries baggage: ever since his puppyhood, partly due to his insecurity, he has become overstimulated very quickly.
By sounds, movements, vehicles, bicycles, other dogs, people walking by, and especially children.

We have since learned how to deal with this (coaching, a program with a veterinary behavioral specialist, medication), but we still experience almost daily that during walks he lashes out at whatever triggers Jagger at that moment. This is manageable, but what is no longer acceptable to us is that he exhibits aggressive behavior towards our (3) grandchildren.

There have already been several biting incidents, fortunately without consequences, and therefore, in consultation with the people supporting us, it has now been decided to see if he can find a beautiful new home elsewhere. This causes us incredible sadness. The ideal environment for Jagger is a home with a meadow or a large walled garden where he has no stimuli from traffic or passing animals/people. Where he can go about his business during the day and where he no longer needs to go for walks through the village or city. He loves walks through fields or along the beach (where he has a good view) and he can also be let off the leash.

Contact with other dogs usually goes well, but he does need time to get acquainted. He does not like cats.
An environment without children, where there is peace and routine, is ideal.

He enjoys traveling in the car in his car crate; he can stay alone for 4 to 5 hours without any problems, and in the evening he prefers to sleep in his crate or on his mat in our bedroom. After 6 p.m., he is a cuddle bear who would love to lie next to you all evening.

Ideally, he is an owner who understands him and can help him cope with his insecurity and fears.
